. . . . . . . .

Welcome myself back to Arizona & hi to my "No one lives forever..." and my other online activities again. Lost touch of the Internet as I was away for 2 weeks in Las Vegas, Nevada due to work commitment. The Internet service provided by the hotel sucks and it cost like USD$12 for 24 hours. That's why I didn't even have the thought of bringing my laptop over, and moreover who the hell will stick to staying online in Las Vegas? Anyway I am back now, I will drop more post when I have the time again...

Resolutions

I don't come out with any and I don't believe in it...

I find people making New Year resolutions are just trying really hard to get something done. That's so impractical. I meant if you wanna do something then just do it. Stop giving excuses to cover yourself or what so ever. See the word itself is actually "Re-Solutions", meaning existing problems are not solved and people have to come up "another" way to go around it, rather than facing it. Duhz.

It's a New Year, 2008. Glad that I survived for another year. Glad because I trashed my life to the max, not to say that I don't cherish my life but just that I am a risk taker. I love thrills. I have tried many ways of pumping my adrenaline and I am still looking for something that is able to scare the s*** out of my pants. Keep it up and we shall see how far can I go...

Time flies... Almost 2 years in the States already. I love America! Seriously, I can stay here forever. I like everything here. The culture, people, government, environment & everything! You name it man. But somehow I have the urge of leaving this place due to my working environment... My group of people that I work with are not cooperating. To make things worst, I need to put up with a "Triceratops". I wonder how can anyone have more patience than me. That beast better don't blow my limits because if that ever happens, I might even think of going to the Walmart to get a bullet for it.

(close my eyes. inhales... exhales...)

After these time here, I will definitely return as a better man... Much better...

Whiteout

It's that time of the year again! Get to slide again... Slide on snow...

Here we are at Arizona Snowbowl. So many of us made our way up north (3 hours drive), but I am only with a small group, the rest are just like 'strangers on the street passing by' to me. Last year I did skiing, so this time round I am gonna be snowboarding.

Day 1. It wasn't enough of fun for us (Leon, Nicholas, Gary & me) as, by the time when we get our hands on our board, it's already mid-day and we need to do the return at 4.30pm. Un-cool... The good thing is that it was snowing. Snow flakes were falling everywhere. (-9°C) So we decided to stayed for another night up here in Flagstaff (Travelodge) to conquer the rest of the mountain trails tomorrow.

Ninjas on ice

Day 2. We got to our equipments early today. Did some warm up. As I get more familiarized with my board, off we went to the highest point of the mountain. 11,500 feet elevation. The Agassiz Triple Chairlift up was taking quite some time (about 20 minutes) but from the top to the bottom of the trail only takes me about 10 minutes to complete. *yawnz* Super awesome though, when I can get to high speed cruising through the snow. Managed to went through Spur Catwalk, Sundance, Logjam & Wild Turkey trails altogether. Did 2 runs on the highest trail and multiple runs on some intermediate trails. Of course we have our misses & tumbles in the snow but we know the right way to fall. The danger is there, one mistake and we could end up off the mountain edge, kind of scary to think of it now. Haha. Anyway we all came back home, one piece, safely.

All the way up & One way down...

The signboard behind me says it all

It was really a great & fun experience. Most importantly is that you have the right kakis to do whatever things together. F***ed up people hanging out with you will only get you into f***ed situations...

That's me alright...

Leaping into 2008...
