Stainless Steel
It's set. I had
6 of them removed all at once, including 2 named wisdom. I was given General Anaesthesia (GA) and I came to conscious as a blood-drooling-
6-tooth-less man. It's a blessing that I was asleep, I can't imagine what were they doing with all that instruments in my mouth. They handed me the
6 in a zip-loc bag, its bloody and some still with bits of flesh on it. Its an unpleasant sight...
As I might be always flying around due to my work commitment, I asked for the fastest procedure to be completed while I am at present. If nothing goes wrong, I should be leaving for the States next year. But I doubt that I can complete the procedure by then, as my teeth are really in a mess. I can see and feel them moving slowly like an ice berg now, but they got to move faster than that. "Buck up, you lazy bones!"
Pain is not the worst part of it... The change of your eating habit is the killer. Now I can only take soft food, especially those that need not much of a chewing to be swallowed, like porridge. I guess this is the most number of porridge that I have taken as meal in this period of my life. Days when I am not working is not that bad, as I can choose to go buy whatever that I can eat. Working in the morning shift, I will skip lunch because I can't eat whatever SFI had sent to me. Working in the swing shift, I will skip dinner because I still can't eat whatever SFI had sent to me, but if I am lucky I will have those night snacks like sponge cakes or bread as dinner. Only after I get out of the airbase then I can have back my proper meal, which is... porridge... Duh... Once I tried eating noodles, its kind of difficult as I got to swallow the whole length without chewing. Damn...
I am not bitching about it because I chose to do it. I am doing OK, still kicking alive. It will all be worth it when the end results are achieved...
