Eye Opener

Finally got my laptop up and working with the Internet connection again. All these while that I didn't update was because of my tour in Japan and Thailand. The wireless services provided in those hotels I stayed was either too s..l...o..w... or inaccessible. Moreover, time to rest is already not enough, for the amount of travelling that needs to be done.

Tokyo, Japan - It was awesome. I like everything about there. I got a culture shock when I got back to Singapore. Everybody is so polite & well mannered. I don't see people shouting at each other or talking loudly. I don't see parents scolding their kids in the public. I don't see passengers of the subways crowding the train doors, pushing to get in or out, hogging the escalators or stairways. But I see all these dirty acts the moment I stepped out of my house in Singapore. Such a disappointment... The fashion sense there is so much higher. 9 out of 10 Japanese dresses well to present themselves. (I am not talking about ladies only) Singaporeans are so boring. When anyone dresses loudly or present themselves outstanding from the rest, they will label them as "ah-beng" or "ah-lian". Such a disgrace to the fashion world. The food is fresh. No MSG added compared to the food here... 1 week of Japan is not really enough, I will be back...

Bangkok, Thailand - Seriously there is nothing much there. It's kind of like a shopping place. Malls everywhere. After Japan's shopping, I don't fancy anything here anymore. The stuffs are real cheap but the material sucks and 99% that you are getting a fake one. Well, their imitations skills are good. All the way from head to toes, any brands. You name it they fake it. The food is cheap. Almost everything is cheap. Just spend $$$ and you can get many things done. So eat and live like a king while you are there. Don't forget to visit their famous shrines too. 4 days spent...

Woodlands, Singapore - Finally back home. 10 days to spend here.
